Verse 30 is found in chapter 12 of 1 Chronicles. The number and origin of the men who came to David at Hebron to give him the kingdom are presented. The enumeration of tribes shows a progressive national convergence. Judah, Simeon, Levi, Benjamin, Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, Zebulun, Naphtali, Dan, Asher, and the eastern tribes appear integrated into the transition toward a united kingdom.
