Verse 34 is found in chapter 12 of 1 Chronicles. The number and origin of the men who came to David at Hebron to give him the kingdom are presented. Judah, Simeon, Levi, Benjamin, Ephraim, Manasseh, Issachar, Zebulun, Naphtali, Dan, Asher, and the eastern tribes appear integrated into the transition toward a united kingdom.
