Verse 21 is found in chapter 29 of 1 Chronicles. The people celebrate sacrifices and once again acknowledge Solomon as king. The transition from David’s rule to Solomon’s is accompanied by worship and joy. The account combines dynastic continuity, worship, and public acceptance of the new king, presenting the succession as part of the order established for Israel.
