Verse 19 is found in chapter 3 of 1 Chronicles. The post-exilic line continues from Jeconiah through descendants associated with Zerubbabel and later generations. This section is especially significant for a community rebuilding its identity after deportation. The genealogy communicates continuity: exile had interrupted the monarchy, but it had not erased the memory or descendants of David’s house.
