Verse 2 is found in chapter 10 of 1 Kings. The Queen of Sheba visits Solomon to test his wisdom with difficult questions. She is impressed by the organization of his court, servants, and temple, and acknowledges that reality surpasses what she had heard. The account presents the fulfillment of the international fame announced earlier. The queen ultimately praises the God who placed Solomon on the throne, linking the king’s wisdom with divine blessing.
