Verse 3 is found in chapter 31 of 2 Chronicles. After Passover, the participants destroy pillars, images, and idolatrous worship sites in Judah and also in northern territories. The reform extends beyond Jerusalem. Hezekiah also establishes the contributions necessary for regular worship, showing that spiritual renewal must be sustained through permanent structures.
