Verse 12 is found in chapter 5 of 2 Chronicles. The priests and Levites praise God, and a cloud fills the temple. The cloud recalls manifestations of divine presence previously associated with the tabernacle. The account therefore presents divine approval of the sanctuary through a manifestation that temporarily prevents the priests from continuing their ministry.
