Verse 7 is found in chapter 28 of Deuteronomy. The first great section of blessings describes agricultural prosperity, security, abundance, and recognition among the nations for Israel if it carefully listens to the voice of the Lord. The blessings encompass the city, field, descendants, animals, and crops. The structure presents national prosperity as a consequence of living within the covenant rather than as a possession independent of obedience.
