Verse 2 is found in chapter 10 of Ezekiel. The wheels and living creatures reappear in connection with divine glory. Coals taken from among the cherubim are thrown over the city. The symbol connects the heavenly presence with judgment on Jerusalem and shows that the same glory identifying God also accompanies the sentence.
