Verse 7 is found in chapter 21 of Ezekiel. The Lord’s sword is drawn against Jerusalem and the land. The language of the sword turns judgment into an inevitable military reality. Ezekiel groans before the people, showing that announcing judgment does not mean the prophet remains emotionally distant.
