Verse 10 is found in chapter 23 of Ezekiel. The two sisters, Oholah and Oholibah, represent Samaria and Jerusalem. Their unfaithfulness is described through a sexual metaphor communicating the adoption of foreign alliances and idolatry. Samaria serves as a warning for Jerusalem, but Jerusalem eventually repeats and deepens her conduct.
