Verse 27 is found in chapter 3 of Ezekiel. The Spirit lifts Ezekiel and carries him toward the exiles. His ministry develops within the exiled community and begins with a period of silence. God establishes the prophet as a watchman: he must warn the wicked and the righteous, and his responsibility is to communicate the divine warning faithfully.
