Verse 2 is found in chapter 33 of Ezekiel. Ezekiel again receives the responsibility of a watchman. If the watchman warns of danger and someone does not respond, responsibility falls upon the one who rejected the warning. The image clearly establishes the prophet’s responsibility to communicate the message faithfully.
