Verse 26 is found in chapter 37 of Ezekiel. God promises one shepherd, one nation, and a covenant of peace. David again appears as a figure of restored rule. The permanent presence of the sanctuary among the people will show that God has returned to dwell with them and that their relationship has been renewed.
