Verse 10 is found in chapter 5 of Ezekiel. Jerusalem holds a special position among the nations, but precisely because it received knowledge and responsibility, it will be judged for its rebellion. The Lord announces famine, sword, and dispersion. The passage connects election with responsibility: privileged status does not remove the consequences of unfaithfulness.
