For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

The verse 12 is found in chapter 2 of Isaiah. After the vision of peace comes an accusation against Judah’s pride, its trust in wealth, horses, idols, and human alliances. The day of Yahweh will bring down all human greatness. The contrast with the opening verses is deliberate: God’s future kingdom cannot coexist with a community that attributes its security to its own strength.

Denn der Tag des HERRN Zebaoth wird gehen über alles Hoffärtige und Hohe und über alles Erhabene, daß es erniedrigt werde;
Porque día de Jehová de los ejércitos vendrá sobre todo soberbio y altivo, y sobre todo ensalzado; y será abatido:
Porque Jehová de los ejércitos tiene un día contra todo el que es soberbio y altivo, contra todo el que se ensalza, y será abatido;
Car il y a un jour pour l'Eternel des armées Contre tout homme orgueilleux et hautain, Contre quiconque s'élève, afin qu'il soit abaissé;
Perciocchè vi è un giorno del Signore degli eserciti contro ad ogni superbo ed altiero; e contro a chiunque s’innalza; ed egli sarà abbassato;
Porque o dia do SENHOR dos Exércitos será contra todo o soberbo e altivo, e contra todo o que se exalta, para que seja abatido;
因萬軍之耶和華的一個日子 要臨到所有驕傲狂妄的, 臨到一切自高的, 使他們降為卑;
