The verse 3 is found in chapter 2 of Isaiah. The vision of the latter days presents the mountain of Yahweh’s house as a gathering place for the nations. Divine teaching produces an international transformation: weapons become agricultural tools, and war ceases to define human relationships. Jerusalem appears as the place from which God’s instruction proceeds, and the future kingdom is characterized by justice and peace.
