The verse 22 is found in chapter 60 of Isaiah. Zion is called to arise because Yahweh’s glory dawns upon her. The nations and their wealth converge toward Jerusalem, while the city moves from abandonment to splendor. Zion’s light has a missionary character: divine glory attracts peoples and kings from beyond Israel.
