A verse can bring hope. Share this message of faith with someone you care about.
The verse 4 is found in chapter 1 of Jeremiah. Jeremiah begins by identifying his ministry within the history of the kings of Judah and presenting his prophetic calling. God declares that he knew the prophet before forming him and had set him apart for a mission among the nations. Divine election precedes human ability, and Jeremiah’s objection concerning his youth contrasts with the authority God grants him.
