The verse 2 is found in chapter 26 of Jeremiah. Jeremiah again announces in the temple that repentance can prevent disaster. The priests and prophets want to kill him because of his words, but some remember that Micah also announced judgment during the days of Hezekiah. The episode shows that the prophetic word should be evaluated by its faithfulness, not silenced through violence.
