The verse 10 is found in chapter 43 of Jeremiah. The people accuse Jeremiah of lying and march to Egypt, taking the prophet and Baruch with them. There Jeremiah announces that Nebuchadnezzar will extend his rule into Egypt. The move demonstrates that fleeing geographically from judgment does not mean escaping God’s sovereignty.
