The verse 9 is found in chapter 51 of Jeremiah. God announces Babylon’s destruction through images of destructive wind, threshing, and judgment. In contrast, Israel and Judah are called to remember the Creator of all things. True security is not found in the empire or its gods, but in Yahweh, who made the earth and can bring down what appears invincible.
