Verse 6 is found in chapter 38 of Job. God finally answers from the whirlwind and asks Job who darkens counsel with words without knowledge. Instead of directly explaining the cause of suffering, God asks about the origin of creation and Job’s ability to understand it. The method of the response directs attention toward the distance between human knowledge and divine government.
