Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
A verse can bring hope. Share this message of faith with someone you care about.
Verse 14 is found in chapter 3 of Joel. The multitude gathered in the valley stands before the day of the Lord. The darkening of the heavenly bodies and God’s roar from Zion once again use cosmic imagery to represent a decisive intervention. In contrast to the nations, God is presented as a refuge for his people.
Meditate on this verse and share your reflection or spiritual experience with the community. Your comments will enrich everyone's learning.
Compare Joel 3:14 in different Bible versions and see how its wording varies between translations. These differences can help you better understand the meaning and context of the passage.
