And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

Verse 28 is found in chapter 16 of Judges. Samson asks the young man guiding him to place his hands on the central pillars and prays for God to give him strength one last time. He brings down the temple and dies along with many Philistines. The final statement says that he killed more at his death than during his life. The episode concludes his story by showing simultaneously judgment against the oppressors, the final recovery of his mission, and the enormous personal cost of a life marked by destructive choices.
