And, behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said unto him, Come, and I will shew thee the man whom thou seekest. And when he came into her tent, behold, Sisera lay dead, and the nail was in his temples.

Verse 22 is found in chapter 4 of Judges. Sisera flees to Jael’s tent, where she apparently receives him with hospitality. She then kills him while he sleeps and delivers his body to Barak. Deborah’s prophecy is fulfilled literally: a woman receives the decisive honor over the enemy commander. The section concludes by stating that Israel progressively destroyed Jabin’s power, showing that the deliverance begun in battle continues until the oppressor is defeated.
