The verse 19 is found in chapter 9 of Matthew. The raising of a ruler’s daughter, the healing of the woman, and the restoration of sight and speech broaden the manifestation of Jesus’ authority. At the same time, the Pharisees’ reaction introduces an opposition that will progressively grow.
