One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:
A verse can bring hope. Share this message of faith with someone you care about.
Verse 27 is found in chapter 7 of Numbers. The leaders of Israel begin presenting offerings for the dedication of the altar. Although the offerings are similar, each tribe presents its own gift on an appointed day. The deliberate repetition gives importance to each tribal representative and expresses collective participation in the dedication of the sanctuary. Israel’s unity does not eliminate the particular identity of its tribes.
