Verse 3 is found in chapter 111 of Psalms. Psalm 111 is an acrostic poem celebrating the Lord’s works and the faithfulness of his covenant. The conclusion offers a wisdom statement: the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowing his works should produce obedience and praise.
