Verse 13 is found in chapter 145 of Psalms. Psalm 145 is an acrostic hymn concentrating numerous attributes of God: greatness, mercy, patience, goodness, faithfulness, and compassion. The psalmist insists on transmitting divine works from one generation to another. God’s kingdom is described as eternal and his care reaches all who fall. The poem ends by expanding praise from the individual to all flesh, anticipating the universal character of the final psalms.
