Verse 5 is found in chapter 150 of Psalms. Psalm 150 functions as the final doxology of the fifth book and of the entire Psalter. First it answers where God should be praised: in his sanctuary and in the expanse of the heavens. Then it explains why: because of his mighty works and greatness. It then lists musical instruments, turning worship into a communal and resounding celebration. Finally, the call expands to every creature that breathes, closing the Psalter with universal praise: every living being is invited to respond to the greatness of the Lord.
