Verse 2 is found in chapter 24 of Psalms. Psalm 24 begins with a cosmic affirmation: the earth belongs to the Lord because he founded it. From there it asks who may ascend the holy mountain and answers with clean hands, a pure heart, and rejection of falsehood. The final section adopts processional language around the King of glory, connecting entrance into the sanctuary with the universal sovereignty of God.
