Verse 4 is found in chapter 62 of Psalms. Psalm 62 insists that the soul finds rest only in God. Repeated expressions such as rock, salvation, and refuge create a structure of trust contrasting with human instability. The conclusion brings together two decisive attributes of God: power and mercy, both foundations of his justice.
