Verse 9 is found in chapter 65 of Psalms. Psalm 65 celebrates God as the one who hears prayer, forgives sin, and sustains creation. The first part moves from the sanctuary toward the ends of the earth, showing the universal dimension of divine rule. The second contemplates rain, rivers, fields, crops, and flocks as gifts of providence. Agricultural abundance is not treated simply as a natural result, but as an expression of the Creator’s blessing.
