Verse 7 is found in chapter 73 of Psalms. Psalm 73 explicitly addresses the crisis caused by observing the prosperity of the wicked. The psalmist nearly abandons his trust because the arrogant seem to live without consequences. The turning point occurs upon entering God’s sanctuary, where he gains a different perspective on their destiny. The psalm concludes by affirming that nearness to God is the true good and that making the Lord one’s refuge enables one to proclaim his works.
