Verse 12 is found in chapter 85 of Psalms. Psalm 85 remembers a past restoration and asks for present renewal. The forgiveness of iniquity becomes the foundation for requesting life and salvation again. A poetic section personifies mercy, truth, righteousness, and peace as realities that meet under God’s action. The land produces fruit when God restores his people, linking spiritual reconciliation, justice, and communal well-being.
