Verse 12 is found in chapter 16 of Revelation. The sixth bowl dries up the Euphrates River to prepare the way for the kings from the east. From the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet come unclean spirits like frogs that perform signs and gather the kings for the battle of the great day of God. The text introduces a direct warning: Christ will come unexpectedly, so blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his garments. The place called Armageddon appears as the symbolic setting for the final concentration of rebellious forces.
