The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
A verse can bring hope. Share this message of faith with someone you care about.
Verse 21 is found in chapter 22 of Revelation. Jesus’ final declaration is "Surely I am coming soon," to which John responds, "Amen. Come, Lord Jesus." The expectation of Christ’s coming thus constitutes the final movement of the entire book. The Christian response is not chronological speculation, but hope directed toward the person of Christ. The final greeting, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with all," returns the book to the pastoral setting of the believing community and ends the apocalyptic vision with grace.
