And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.

Verse 8 is found in chapter 22 of Revelation. John again declares that he saw and heard these things and once more falls down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to him. The angel again corrects him: he must not worship the angel because he is a fellow servant with John, the prophets, and those who keep the words of the book. The repetition reinforces an essential principle of Revelation: even an extraordinary heavenly experience must not displace exclusive worship of God.
