Verse 12 is found in chapter 7 of Revelation. After hearing the number of those who were sealed, John sees a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language. This multitude stands before the throne and the Lamb wearing white robes and holding palm branches, and attributes salvation to God and the Lamb. The relationship between the number heard and the multitude seen has generated different interpretations, but the text clearly emphasizes the universal dimension of salvation and eschatological worship.
