Verse 10 is found in chapter 16 of 2 Chronicles. Hanani rebukes Asa because he sought support from the king of Syria instead of trusting God, reminding him of the previous victory over the enormous Cushite army. The contrast is central: the same king who once depended on God now places his security in a political alliance. Asa responds by imprisoning the prophet.
