Verse 7 is found in chapter 12 of 2 Kings. Joash orders the resources designated for the temple to be used to repair its deterioration. The account describes different mechanisms for administering the money and eventually states that the priests were not to oversee the construction directly, but were to deliver the designated funds to the workers.
