Verse 19 is found in chapter 21 of Ezekiel. The king of Babylon appears consulting signs to determine his military route. Pagan divination forms part of the scene, but the result remains within divine sovereignty. The sentence against Jerusalem reaches the prince whose rule has been marked by unfaithfulness.
