Verse 9 is found in chapter 3 of Ezra. In the second year, the temple work formally begins. Jeshua, his sons, the priests, the Levites, and other workers are organized to oversee the construction. The participation of different groups reflects that reconstruction is a communal and religious undertaking, not merely an architectural one. Restoration requires priestly leadership, Levitical organization, and collective labor.
