The verse 9 is found in chapter 27 of Isaiah. Leviathan represents the chaotic opposition that God will ultimately destroy, while Israel’s restored vineyard no longer produces wild grapes but fruit. The chapter unites judgment and restoration: God removes what destroys and replants his people. The return of the scattered culminates in worship in Jerusalem.
