For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
A verse can bring hope. Share this message of faith with someone you care about.
Verse 22 is found in chapter 27 of Job. Job describes the consequences that may eventually reach the wicked person’s household: loss of descendants, wealth, security, and reputation. The language retains elements of traditional wisdom concerning retribution. Within the book’s structure, this statement should be read alongside his earlier observations that judgment is not always immediate or visible.
Meditate on this verse and share your reflection or spiritual experience with the community. Your comments will enrich everyone's learning.
