Verse 28 is found in chapter 3 of Judges. Ehud makes a short sword and manages to approach Eglon under the pretext of delivering a secret message. After killing the king, he escapes and summons Israel against the Moabites. The story combines irony, strategy, and military deliverance. The victory is not attributed to Israel’s conventional superiority but to God’s intervention through an unexpected deliverer.
