If thou forbear to deliver them that are drawn unto death, and those that are ready to be slain;

Verse 11 is found in chapter 24 of Proverbs. The wise person receives responsibility for those being led unjustly toward death. He cannot excuse himself by claiming ignorance because God knows the heart and weighs intentions. Then comes a warning against rejoicing when an enemy falls: such an attitude may bring the Lord’s displeasure. Biblical justice does not authorize turning an adversary’s misfortune into an occasion for personal celebration.

Errette die, so man töten will; und entzieh dich nicht von denen, die man würgen will.
Si dejares de librar los que son tomados para la muerte, Y los que son llevados al degolladero;
Délivre ceux qu'on traîne à la mort, Ceux qu'on va égorger, sauve-les!
Se tu ti rattieni dal riscuoter quelli che son tratti alla morte, E quelli che stanno in forse di essere uccisi,
Se tu deixares de livrar os que estão sendo levados para a morte, e aos que estão sendo levados para a matança;
人被拉到死亡,你要解救; 人將被殺,你須攔阻。
