Verse 7 is found in chapter 14 of Revelation. An angel flies through the midst of heaven proclaiming an eternal gospel to every nation, tribe, language, and people. The proclamation calls people to fear God, give him glory, and worship the Creator because the hour of his judgment has come. The message has universal scope and connects judgment with proper worship. The reference to the one who made heaven, earth, sea, and springs of water connects human decision with God’s creative authority.
