And I that am the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt will yet make thee to dwell in tabernacles, as in the days of the solemn feast.

Verse 9 is found in chapter 12 of Hosea. Ephraim is compared to a merchant who uses dishonest scales and claims to have acquired wealth without guilt. The problem is not simply possessing goods, but denying injustice while prospering through dishonest practices. God recalls having brought the people out of Egypt and again announces a condition resembling life in tents. Wealth cannot erase the historical dependence on God.
